Hogan came to us with over 20 years of experience in finance and accounting from the Biotech, Business Process Solutions, Technology, and Education Publishing industries. He holds an MBA from Rutgers and a BS from Rochester Institute of Technology.  He is a fairly new Florida resident, as he relocated to Tampa from San Francisco Bay Area during the summer of 2024.  He drove across the country, which was a 3,794 mile/67-hour adventure with his buddy Jackson, a labradoodle. Originally, Hogan is from Sothern Sweden and went to college in Rochester, NY, but he had never seen so much snow nor been so cold before. In his pastime he likes to play tennis, enjoy fine wines, and exploring new areas in the greater Tampa Bay. 

New to the Sunshine state, Sheila is a Licensed CAM who lives in Sarasota. She relocated to Florida by way of Atlanta, where she raised her three young adult children. Sheila has 20 years of experience in Financial Services and comes to River Strand from Icon Property Management where she served as the Community Association Manager at Lakewood National Golf Club. Sheila is focused on providing unparalleled service, accountability and the ultimate lifestyle experience.

Amanda began her career in the property management industry nine years ago, starting in finance. While working as a Staff Accountant, she earned her Licensed Community Association Manager (LCAM) designation, expanding her expertise beyond financial operations into full-spectrum association management. Amanda brings extensive experience to River Strand managing Condominiums, Cooperatives, and Homeowners Associations (HOAs). She has comprehensive knowledge of all aspects of property management, including governance, operations, and resident relations. She is known for her strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and proactive communication style, which support informed decision-making and smooth community operations. Amanda is committed to fostering transparency, organization, and professionalism in every aspect of association management. Originally from Michigan, Amanda has been a Florida resident since 2008.

Responsible for overseeing maintenance, repair and upkeep operations of River Strand’s facilities. Terry provides day-to-day leadership to the maintenance team to ensure operations run smoothly and common areas are well-cared for. A hands-on problem solver, Terry optimizes the maintenance strategy to solve unique property maintenance issues. A United States Army veteran, Terry brings more than 15 years of experience in facilities maintenance, repairs and remodeling. He has worked for many different industries, such as non-profits, healthcare and residential properties. Terry was born in Texas and raised in Florida, and currently resides in Sarasota, FL, with his wife Alice, daughter Nina and a lucky rescued yellow lab named Leeroy.

Ryan Macey is the Director of Golf at River Strand Golf & Country Club and a PGA Professional with over 20 years of experience. He has led golf operations and instruction at several of Florida’s top private clubs, including Bradenton Country Club, Grasslands Golf & Country Club, and Palm Aire Country Club. Known for his professionalism and attention to detail, Ryan oversees all aspects of the golf operation and is currently pursuing PGA of America Master Professional status. An award-winning instructor and strong advocate for junior golf, he is committed to delivering exceptional golf experiences and fostering a welcoming, member-focused culture at River Strand.

Whitney is a born and raised Floridian where she spent most of her childhood on the golf course. She attended FSU on a full ride golf scholarship where she graduated with a bachelor’s in chemical science and a minor in biology. After college, she found her passion in the golf industry and has since devoted her time to growing the game and has become a Class A Professional with the PGA of America. When not on the golf course, she enjoys spending her free time with her family which consists of her husband and her two adorable fur babies.    

Robby Boyd, comes to us with over 12 years of experience in golf course maintenance. He is a class A member of the GCSAA. Robby came from TPC Prestancia where he did a complete turn around and worked very close with management and members. He truly cares what the member’s desire and exceeds beyond expectations every time. He came to Florida from Texas in 2019, Timarron Country Club and from there, Shady Valley Country Club, Hawks Creek Golf Club and did an internship at Boot Ranch Country Club. Through the years, he has overseen and grown in golf course renovations such as greens, fairway, tees and bunker renovations. Robby has volunteered at PGA tour events and hosted many USGA qualifiers. He had a love for golf at very young age and followed his dreams. Robby prides himself on consistent course conditions and developing strong golf course maintenance teams. He is happily married with two beautiful daughters and is very excited to join River Strand.

Kellie has extensive experience in Event planning, Marketing and the Food & Beverage Industry. She comes from an exceptional background in business development and management. Originally from Rhode Island, her career started when she was working for a Floral, Greenhouse and Gift shop. Her passion for flowers gave her the drive she needed to become a high style floral designer specializing in Weddings and special events. She continued her career as a Social and Corporate event coordinator in Hollywood, FL. With over 20 years in the industry, Kellie is joining us from St. Petersburg Yacht club where she excelled as the Banquets and Events Manager before coming aboard at River Strand Golf & Country Club. She is excited for the opportunity to create fun activities, events, social outings, and lifestyle for the River Strand Community.

Nancy became part of the River Strand Golf and Country Club family January 2023. Prior to River Strand she was the Director of Human Resources at Palm Aire Country Club for 26 years. Nancy is a member of the Society of Human Resources and is always looking to improve in her role as HR. When not at work she can be seen volunteering, paddleboarding, and working on crafts. Nancy has two grown children and a new granddaughter.

Originally from Minnesota, Michelle brings years of experience in administrative support and leadership to the River Strand team. Her strong organizational skills and calm, confident presence help keep every day running smoothly behind the scenes. Outside of work she enjoys spending quality time with her daughters and 3 amazing grandkids.

Angela, a Florida native, brings over 30 years of accounting experience with a specialization in the construction industry. Her career highlights include serving as CFO of a prominent electrical company and 20 years in business management, where she developed a deep understanding of operational and financial strategy. Angela's commitment to customer service ensures that our members will receive the utmost care and respect, with their needs met in a timely and efficient manner. Outside of her professional life, Angela enjoys spending time with her family, which includes two grown children and two grandsons. She also loves outdoor activities such as camping and exploring diverse culinary experiences.

Three years ago, Autumn relocated to Florida from Arkansas after her son left for college. She has a background in the construction industry and previously worked in Marina Operations at the Resort at Longboat Key Club Moorings. In her free time, Autumn enjoys spending time at the beach, dining at local restaurants, visiting farmers' markets, and exploring everything Florida has to offer.

Chef Tony Riley is an ACF Certified Executive Chef and nationally recognized culinary professional celebrated for his creativity, leadership, and commitment to excellence. His passion for the culinary arts began in his sister’s bakery, where he cultivated a love for craftsmanship and precision. A Magna Cum Laude graduate of Johnson & Wales University, Chef Riley earned Dean’s List honors every term and completed an internship at The Breakers in West Palm Beach, gaining valuable luxury hospitality experience. He further honed his skills through advanced training with members of the U.S. Olympic Culinary Team. As a former Regional Chef for Landry’s Inc., Chef Riley managed restaurant operations across the East Coast, Las Vegas, and Texas, ensuring consistency, quality, and team development. Specializing in refined American cuisine and seafood-forward menus with modern flair, he is dedicated to mentoring talent and delivering exceptional dining experiences for members and guests.

Nate comes to us with over 20 years of experience in the racquets industry in the Sarasota/Bradenton area.  His passion is in developing tennis and pickleball programs and creating a friendly and active culture in both of these lifetime sports.  He spent 10 of those years right here at River Strand (2007-2017).  Nate competed in the junior tennis ranks in Minnesota and went on to become the winningest player in program history at Concordia University in Nebraska.  He earned a silver medal at the 2024 US OPEN in Pickleball (4.5 level) and was the Men's Open Doubles USPTA World Champion in 2005.  Locally, he has worked at Laurel Oak Country Club, The Oaks Club, and Lakewood National Golf and Country Club.  Nate also spent several years as the Regional Racquets Director for ICON Management.  His wife of 19 years, Alison Griffin is a Nurse Practitioner at Weiss Pediatric Care, and he has three teenage children, all of whom are competitive swimmers. 

Born and raised in Bradenton, FL, Collin went to Manatee Highschool where he played football and baseball. After high school, Collin attended State College of Florida on a baseball scholarship where he earned an associate’s degree before transferring to play Division I baseball at Samford University & then rounded out his college baseball career at West Georgia University. After college he signed to play baseball professionally with the Grand Junction Rockies in Grand Junction, Colorado. Due to a career-ending injury, Collin picked up pickleball from his mother, Chandra Moore, who currently plays professional pickleball on the APP Tour. Collin has been giving individual and group instruction at The Lake Club & UMR Sports as well as competing in tournaments.

Carolina played Division 1 Tennis for Coastal Carolina University and has worked as a hitting partner, and travel coach for ITF/Pro players. Cari has maintained a successful position as a Head Tennis Pro at River Strand Golf and Country Club since 2020. In addition, Cari also runs the youth clinics and multiple adult clinics alongside her private sessions.
